Sarz is gearing up to release his latest album very soon, and he’s kept fans hooked with a series of entertaining and creative rollout videos. These clips have captured attention and showcase a cinematic way to announce his upcoming project.

Unlike the typical album teasers we often see in the Nigerian music scene, Sarz’s rollout videos feel more like mini movies than simple announcements. Each video tells its own story, blending humor with fan anticipation, making it clear just how eagerly awaited Protect Sarz At All Costs is. This approach doesn’t just say the album is coming; it shows how much people are already anticipating it.

The first video features Sarz at a mock press conference, sitting alongside his personal assistant as journalists press him about the album’s release date. They jokingly accuse him of holding the project for too long and even ask if heavyweights like Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido will appear on the album. Sarz simply stares at the interviewer and walks away, leaving fans buzzing with speculation that all three might indeed feature on the project.

In the second video, we see a group therapy-style session where a fan vents about how starved he is for new Sarz music. Sitting in a circle with Sarz listening, the fan shares how he’s constantly checking socials and streaming platforms for any sign of the album, perfectly capturing the impatience and excitement of the fanbase.

The third video features comedian Layi Wasabi. Sarz is on a date at the cinema, watching an action-packed movie starring Layi as the lead actor, who, just before shooting his enemy in the scene, demands that Sarz’s album be the soundtrack instead. The humor peaks when Layi spots Sarz enjoying the date on a TV screen and shouts, “Tell them to give me my soundtrack, when is the album dropping?” This clever and funny clip adds a unique flavor to the rollout and highlights how eagerly the album is awaited.

These rollout videos aren’t just fun but packed with creativity. Sarz has flipped the usual album promotion on its head by sharing mini stories with the videos that entertain while also building genuine hype for the album ‘Protect Sarz At All Costs.’

Two singles have already dropped: “Happiness” featuring Asake and Gunna, and “C’mon Look” with Asake. The album boasts a stellar lineup, including Asake, Ayra Starr, Lojay, Big Sean, and Gunna. Sarz is set to blend Afrobeats, R&B, and fresh sounds to redefine how Nigerian producers’ albums are experienced worldwide.

Looking back, Sarz’s first solo single, “Good Morning Riddim,” released in January 2019 as the lead track on his SINYM EP (Sarz Is Not Your Mate), marked an important moment in his career. Moving beyond producing for others, he showcased his own sound with this upbeat Afro-house instrumental, stepping into the spotlight as an artist in his own right.

His previous album, Memories That Last Forever 2 (2023), was an Afrofusion project featuring graduates from The Sarz Academy. This project showed that Sarz is not just a hitmaker but also a mentor who nurtures new talent. The album blended Afrobeats, R&B, and Dancehall, giving rising artists a platform to shine.

Before that, Sarz collaborated with Lojay on the LV N ATTN EP (2021), mixing R&B, hip-hop, and Afrobeats on standout tracks like “Tonongo” and “LV N ATTN” featuring Wizkid. In the same year, he released the Sweetness EP with Obongjayar, combining synthwave, old-school R&B, pop, and Afrobeats. Sarz, one of Afrobeats’ most respected producers, has worked with top stars like Wizkid, Reminisce, Wande Coal, Niniola, Lojay, and Rema.

These projects prove that Sarz is far more than just a producer; he’s a music creative.
