Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has expressed admiration for Brentford youngster Benjamin Frederick following their appearance together in Nigeria’s colours during the recent Unity Cup campaign, Soccernet.ng reports.
Frederick, who only joined up with the squad shortly before the tournament, impressed on his debut, earning praise for his composure and maturity at the heart of defence.
What Moses Simon Said About The Brentford Youngster

“Playing alongside Frederick in the Nigeria jersey was a proud moment for me and our club,” Simon said to RG.
The Nantes star, one of Nigeria’s most experienced players in the squad, was quick to highlight Frederick’s quality and work ethic, suggesting that Brentford have secured a gem in the 18-year-old.
“He is a very good talent, and the future looks very bright for him. Brentford are lucky to have him because he is an all-around and hardworking young boy.”
Simon, who played a vital role in Nigeria’s title win at the Unity Cup, pledged to keep close tabs on Frederick’s progress.
“I will be following his development with unwavering support as a proud mentor,” he added.
Frederick will be hoping to build on his impressive debut as the Super Eagles continue preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers under new head coach Eric Chelle.
