Former Super Eagles forward Peter Ijeh has cautioned Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna against making a big-money move too soon amid growing interest from Chelsea FC, Ajax and other European giants, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 18-year-old winger has recently emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in Sweden, following standout performances for AIK Fotboll and attracting attention from top European clubs.
Ijeh on Zadok Yohanna's summer move
However, Ijeh — a former striker for Malmö FF — when asked if this is the right time to move from the club, believes a move at this stage of Yohanna’s career could be premature.
“Too early making such [a] move,” Ijeh told Soccernet.ng.
“He has to establish himself and stay consistent, adding more value to his resume. Every thing else will fall into place.”
Yohanna only joined AIK in 2025, but has wasted no time in making an impression. The left-footed winger, who prefers to operate from the right flank, announced himself with a goal and assist in his early appearances, quickly forcing his way into the spotlight.

Ijeh, who enjoyed a successful spell in Sweden, praised the youngster’s development but stressed the importance of consistency.
He added, “Zadok's recruitment by AIK Stockholm at 18 is a positive step for his career.”
“Playing one game, one assist, one goal puts him in the scorecard of the first 11. Sustaining it over time is essential. I wish him the best in the season.”
Yohanna’s rise has been swift. He caught attention after scoring a late winner in AIK’s 2–1 victory over Halmstads BK on the opening day of the Allsvenskan season, which has further piqued the interest of many suitors.
Soccernet understands that AIK values him at around €20 to 25 million, and more clubs are monitoring his progress in Sweden. Nothing concrete has been done by any of the parties, but the Flying Eagles' eligible forward will be looking to impress at the senior level.
