Five-time Grammy Award-winning music icon Angélique Kidjo has announced the release of her long-awaited new album, HOPE,” a project that has been five years in the making. The highly anticipated album is scheduled to drop on April 24 and promises an inspiring blend of global sounds and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music.

HOPE features an impressive lineup of international stars, including Nigerian Afrobeats heavyweights Davido and Ayra Starr. Other collaborators on the project include Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Quavo, Florent Pagny, Dadju, Fally Ipupa, Charlie Wilson, IZA, PJ Morton, Diamond Platnumz, Nigerian highlife duo The Cavemen, and the renowned Soweto Gospel Choir, among others.

Sharing the news with fans on social media, Kidjo expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project. “My new album HOPE!! is coming out on April 24th. I put my whole heart into this album, and I’m so grateful to all the great artists who have contributed their genius to the album,” she wrote.
