The 2025 Grammy Awards was set alight as various records were broken and several winners emerged from different genres. Nigerian artists were well represented at the award show, with the likes of Tems, Yemi Alade, Rema, and Asake all present at the ceremony. At this year’s Grammys, Beyoncé won three awards, breaking multiple records in the process. She became the first Black woman to win a Grammy for Best Country Album, the Most Grammy-Awarded Artist with 35 Grammys, and the First Black Woman to Win Album of the Year in Over Two Decades. Her album Cowboy Carter won Album of the Year, beating the likes of Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift to take home the award.
