In the Premier League, former Akwa United star Mfon Udoh opened the scoring for Bashundhara Kings in their thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Bangladesh Police.

Belgium

Jordan Torunarigha gave a performance that would please new Super Eagles coach Finidi George in Gent’s 4-1 Jupiler League victory over Standard Liège.

Cyprus

Francis Uzoho and Omonia Nicosia were far from their best as they fell to a 0 – 3 disappointing defeat at the hands of Pafos in the final of the FA Cup.

Estonia

In the Meistriliiga, Ahmed Adebayo opened the scoring for Tammeka but Paide fought back impressively to seal a 2-1 away win.

Germany

Victor Boniface scored Bayer Leverkusen’s first goal in their 2-1 win over FC Augsburg to end the Bundesliga campaign unbeaten and become the first German club to do so.

Boniface ends his first year in the Bundesliga with 14 goals and nine assists in 23 games and claims the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season award.

His compatriot Nathan Tella also chipped in five goals and four assists to Bayer’s perfect league campaign.

Italy

Jennifer Echegini was the star of the shoe, netting a goal and assisting another to power Juventus to a 3-2 win at Sassuolo in the last match of the Italian Serie A Women.

Juventus finished the season second behind champions Roma and qualified for the UEFA Champions League.

Echegini ends the campaign as the joint-top scorer during the Championship Round with six goals. Overall, the Super Falcons star bagged ten goals in only 14 league games for Juventus in her first season as a professional.

In the Serie A, Samuel Chukwueze was listed as injured and sidelined for AC Milan’s trip to Torino where they fell to a 3-1 defeat.

At the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero, Ademola Lookman was an unused substitute as Atalanta clinched a 2-0 win at Lecce to secure a top-four finish and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Japan

In the J3 League, Promise Ogochukwu netted the game’s only goal as YSCC edged to a narrow 1-0 away win at Grulla Morioka.

Malaysia

In his first match of the season, Ifedayo Olusegun scored PDRM’s first and last goals in their thrilling 3-2 Super League victory at the grounds of Perak.

Last year, the 33-year-old forward netted 12 goals in 11 games for Kedah in the Malaysian top flight.

Moldova

Emmanuel Alaribe scored the consolation goal for Zimbru as they were forced to eat the humble pie following a 4-1 Super Liga loss at Petrocub.

Portugal

Bruno Onyemaechi returned from injury to star alongside Chidozie Awaziem in Boavista’s exciting 2-2 Primeira Liga draw with Vizela.

Romania

Philip Otele took his season tally to 18 goals as he rounded up the scoring for CFR Cluj in their commanding 5-1 victory over FCV Farul Constanţa.

Compatriot Peter Michael assisted Otele’s goal in the match.

Russia

In the Premier League, Lagis-born youngster Moses Cobnan scored the game’s winning goal in stoppage time as Krasnodar powered to an entertaining 3-2 win at Sochi.

Scotland

Cyriel Dessers assisted one of Rangers’ goals in their thrilling 3-3 draw away to Hearts as the Gers settled for a runners-up spot behind Premiership champions Celtic.

Turkey

Paul Onuachu and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru were in goalscoring form for their respective clubs to send a message to coach Finidi that they are ready for their Super Eagles chance.

Onuachu scored his 15th Süper Lig goal of the season against Istanbul Basaksehir which was enough to hand Trabzonspor a 1-0 away win.

Dele-Bashiru also fired Hatayspor into a two-lead at Besiktas but Vincent Aboubakar scored a stoppage time penalty to rescue a 2-2 draw for the home side.
