Watch: Fidelis Ilechukwu and Enugu Rangers hit Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous goal celebration

Rangers International Football Club were unable to leave the Remo Stars stadium with any points, losing by a single goal to the home side.

Players and coach of Rangers International Football Club, hit the famous Cristiano Ronaldo Siuuuu celebration after scoring the opener against Remo Stars yesterday evening, Soccernet.ng reports.

Popularly called Enugu Rangers, the men in red travelled in grand style and fashion to Ikenne with their sights set on all three points, with no love lost between both managers, Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede.

Just before the game, Remo Stars manager confirmed that Fidelis, ex-Plateau United manager wasn’t picking his calls ahead of their clash, but shrugged it off by saying his friend was probably focused on the game.

Rangers took the lead through a long-distance strike from Kazeem Ogunleye eight minutes into the game, stirring the visitors into pure ecstasy as all of the players on the pitch, and those on the bench, include coach Fidelis hit the famous Ronaldo celebration in unison.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo first hit the celebration in Real Madrid’s Pre-season game against Chelsea in 2013, and since then, it became his trademark.

From memories of nights of Champions League hat-tricks, to scoring worldies on the biggest stage, there is little doubt that every football viewer at a certain time, hit the celebration in pure joy, and the Rangers team followed suit.

Their joy, however was short-lived, as goals from Oluwaseun Ogunribide and returning striker, Sikiru Alimi sealed all three points for Ijaball’s side.
