Victor Osimhen’s brother-in-law accuses Napoli star of involvement in sister’s alleged abduction

A startling accusation has surfaced in Nigeria, as Napoli striker Victor Osimhen faces abduction claims from his brother-in-law, Osita Okolo, Soccernet.ng reports.

Okolo alleges that Osimhen orchestrated the ‘abduction’ of his own sister by Nigeria’s security service over a disputed court case related to the player’s 2020 transfer from Lille to Napoli.

The discord between the two men originated from unresolved financial disputes linked to Osimhen’s transfer. Okolo asserts that Osimhen owes him a substantial sum exceeding $400,000 in commissions.

Recent events have intensified this already strained relationship.

Okolo has claimed that the Department of State Services (DSS), on the supposed instruction of Osimhen, has intervened leading to the purported arrest of Osimhen’s sister.

In a video posted on Twitter, Okolo described the incident, accusing Osimhen of orchestrating the alleged ordeal.

“Victor Osimhen sends DSS to forcefully abduct his sister (my wife) over a matter that is still in court between myself and him,” Okolo wrote in a tweet.

“You are evil Victor Osimhen! All I asked for is ‘return my commission’. You sent
@OfficialDSSNG to beat, molest, slap and strip my wife naked on the street of Nigeria. You will pay for this.”

The dispute between Osimhen and Okolo began over three years ago during the striker’s move from Lille to Napoli.

The fallout resulted in a legal confrontation at the Ikeja Magistrate court, initiated by Okolo, who felt aggrieved by Osimhen’s decision to engage the services of a different agent, Roberto Calenda, and subsequently cut ties with him.

However, Osimhen’s other siblings have come forward to defend him against the accusations made by their sister, Esther Osimhen, and her husband, Osita.
