Efa Iwara, Steve Babaeko, Denrele Edun, and more will be leading the panel discussion at the 7th edition of the Calabar Entertainment Conference (CEC) on Friday, October 6, 2023.

In a new twist to CEC, the brainchild of Calabar’s Premiere Urban Radio station, Hit 95.9 FM, industry experts would be forming a panel that would explore the synergy between advertising and the entertainment industry as they discuss the legal aspects, rights, and responsibilities in the entertainment business, as participants get tips on how to protect their intellectual property and ensure fair deals to mention a few.

The 7th CEC would feature entertainment professionals including Yinka Adebayo who heads up the Procurement arm of OMG WeCA business across markets and is designated as Executive Director, Media Investment & Sponsorships, Tope Oshunkeye: Executive Head, Marketing, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mandy Uzoagba ESQ: An entertainment lawyer who will provide valuable legal perspectives, Lucas Emeodi aka Kiing LU: An influential music promoter and manager, Stanley Nsemo: lawmaker and renowned advertising consultant, Challex Ofem: A rising star in the entertainment scene, offering a fresh perspective.

Poised as the biggest entertainment conference in the South-South region of Nigeria, the conference has been setting the stage to tackle and give viable solutions to issues faced by artistes and entertainment industry professionals working both in and outside the region.

The seventh edition will be held at the Cultural Centre Complex in Calabar, Cross River State.
