Don Jazzy, a record producer and recording musician, formed the Nigerian music corporate record label Mavin Records on May 8, 2012. It is also known as the Supreme Mavin Dynasty.

Following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, a record company run by the aforementioned producer and D’banj, the label was established.

Recording artistes such Korede Bello, Dr. SID, D’Prince, Di’Ja, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, DNA Twins, Rema, Crayon, Ayra Starr, Magixx, Boy Spyce, and Bayanni are/were associated with the label. Producers like Jazzy himself, Altims, London, Baby Fresh, and Andre Vibez are all based there.

Wande Coal, Iyanya, Reekado Banks, Tiwa Savage, and the label previously had contracts with each other.

So we can say that Mavin Records has produced 3 separate sets.

The first sets 👇🏻

This set was the front-runner in Mavin Records, It houses the big WC, Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, D’Sid, D’Prince and Don Jazzy himself.

The second sets 👇🏻

The second mavin set was something else, It house Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, D’ija who joined the already existing first set excluding Wande Coal.

The third sets 👇🏻

The 3rd Mavin records set are more of the Gen Z sets. It houses artistes such as Ladipoe, Rema, Crayon, Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Magixx, Boy Spyce and Bayanni.

We can all agree that Don Jazzy merits higher regard, a man who founded a prosperous independent record label.

Virtually all of the artists who have worked with him and are still signed to his label are successful.
