Nigerian musician, Gaise Baba has announced the passing of his father, Prince (Hon.) Ezekiel Gbadebo Ibuoye, the Ààrẹ Apọ́nlẹ́sẹ̀ of Okemesi Ekiti. He died on Saturday, November 22, at 7:31 p.m., marking a deeply emotional moment for the family.
His passing comes exactly seven months and seven days after the death of his wife, the family’s matriarch, a detail that makes the loss even more poignant for the Ibuoye family.
In a heartfelt statement, Gaise Baba expressed both the pain of the loss and the family’s unwavering faith, noting that there is “no guilt in life, no fear in death.” He added that even in grief, the family chooses to yield to God and give thanks.
