Everybody knows who Fola is today because of his unique sound, soulful melodies and rythms. However, what keeps him top of listener’s minds is the consistency. Only a few weeks go by before he is involved in another song, almost always a hit song.

Since he stepped onto the scene late last year, he has had a superb run in 2025, either he’s dropping singles or collaborating with others on their projects. He’s already a household name in the music industry. Like Asake sang in his 2022 hit single “Peace Be unto You”, when he said “now everybody wants to tear Fola’s shirt.”

When he dropped his 2024 hit single “Alone”, many, including this writer, were not familiar with his craft as expected of a newbie. He then released the remix version of the song featuring Bnxn, which made the song more popular. His breakthrough came with his debut EP, which showcased his soulful sound and Afrobeats influence, a project that houses songs like Bye Bye,Tonight, Mandela featuring Magixx, and also a standout track “Who does that” featuring Bella Shmurda.

Fola hasn’t shown signs of weakness and isn’t slowing down and his music resonates deeply with diverse audiences. His emotional depth, relatable themes, and infectious energy make him one of the most exciting new talents in Nigerian music

“Who Does That” ft Bella Shmurda – This is one of the standout tracks from Fola’s maiden EP “What a Feeling” in December 2024. This song features his record label boss, Bella Shmurda.

This song also dominated airwaves, especially during the Detty December period, with a clean visual to complement the sweet song. The song is a song that you hear and want to keep listening to.

Tonight – A track from his maiden EP “What a Feeling.” This song showcases Fola’s strong RnB and Afrobeats influence, as he sails smoothly on the song and also professes his love through the sound.

“Mandela” ft Magixx – This is also a track from his maiden EP “What a Feeling.” This track features Mavin Records act, Magixx. Both artists showed their chemistry as they glided together in the song to deliver a smooth track.

Bye Bye – This is also a track from his maiden EP “What a Feeling.” This song is an emotional love song from the project and one where you could see Fola put his heart into it to deliver an emotional sound for people to enjoy and relate to.

“Get Better” ft Zlatan – This was released in February this year, with Zanku President, Zlatan, featuring Fola. This song dominated airwaves, and still, the song is a song that was well-produced, and it was a song that was worth listening to. Fola used his voice to add the smooth chorus, which says, “I just want things to get better, ko po ko fun pa,” to Zlatan using his lyrical wordplay in his verse to further complement the song with catchy lines like “no be everybody for UK na e Dey OK.”

Dangbana Riddim ft Bella Shmurda – This track featuring Bella Shmurda, released in April 2025, “Dangbana Riddim” is a track reflecting the mindset of a young hustler determined to rise above poverty. Lines like “Tell me what to do, na to make this dollar.” “Dangbana Riddim” stands out as a testament to the excellent synergy between Fola and Bella Shmurda, blending their unique styles to create a track that resonates with listeners both musically and emotionally.

“Lost” ft Kizz Daniel – Fola featured Kizz Daniel on this track “Lost,” released in April 2025, a track that has been making waves, with both artists sailing effortlessly on the beat to create a romantic masterpiece. Fola had said Kizz Daniel was one of his music influences while growing up and having a song with one of your idols in the industry and it bangs is something to be proud of.

“Titi” ft Kizz Daniel – Kizz Daniel acquired the services of Fola to be featured in his 2025 “Lemon Chase” EP on the track “Titi.” Released in May 2025, this track brought about the second time both artists were featuring each other. “Lost” was the first time they featured each other, and having two songs with Kizz Daniel was a big plus in the music CV of Fola.

Both artists complemented each other well on the track as they showed great synergy. “Titi” is one of the standout tracks from the EP. “Titi” is a song that captures love, pain, regret, and longing in the most authentic way possible. “Titi” also showed the exceptional chemistry both have as they made both their tracks worthwhile to listen to and also raised a case for both having to feature each other more and even have a joint project together.

Very Soon ft Bnxn – Bnxn features Fola in this song “Very Soon,” released in June 2025. This song featuring Fola showcases their excellent musical chemistry, heartfelt storytelling, and lyrics. As a follow-up to their well-received collaboration on the remix of Fola’s hit single “Alone,” the record solidifies their creative partnership.

“Very Soon” is a track that shows a heartfelt reflection on hope, love, and faith. Bnxn and Fola bring raw emotion and honesty to their lyrics, making the song deeply relatable, their chemistry is undeniable, making this feel like a true collaboration, not just a feature.
