Super Eagles and Rangers striker, Cyriel Kolawole Dessers, taunted Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce with his goal celebration after breaking the deadlock in Turkey last night, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 30-year-old has scored in every game for the Gers since Barry Ferguson was appointed as their head coach, finding the net four times in his last three games, including a brilliant finish last night.
A brilliant ball from the Ivorian Diomande sent the Nigerian through on goal, but Dessers decided to turn outside of Fenerbahce’s goalkeeper, and put the ball below him, into the back of the net.

In celebrating his goal, Dessers cupped his ears, in response to the Fenerbahce fans, as if to tell them, “I can’t hear you.” Watch HERE. After the goal, the Super Eagles forward shared a laugh with Jose Mourinho.
“They said before I came here that it would be very noisy. After I scored there was dead silence. That’s why I wanted to say I can’t hear you during my goal celebration,” the former Cremonese man explained.

“It was a beautiful night with the team and fans.”

“This is a very good feeling, it was a beautiful night here with the team, fans and everybody, but we’re well aware that we’re half way through.
“With the first goal, I was more aware of my positioning, but for the second, I wasn’t. I was hoping to get the ball just a split second earlier and it’s a pity that they were disallowed.
“We have to enjoy this evenings. To come here and take the win against a difficult team like this should give us confidence and not just for the next game in Europe, but also for the league. We need to keep going,” the former Feyenoord striker said in an interview with TNT Sports.
