Nigerian actress Eucharia Anunobi has delivered a powerful message to her fans, urging them to stop seeking validation from others and to embrace their inherent self-worth. In a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday, the celebrated actress highlighted the dangers of prioritizing external approval, cautioning that it often leads to “emotional and spiritual imbalance.”
“Seeking to be liked by all is a sign that you are emotionally and spiritually imbalanced,” she wrote. “Some people will hate you because to hate is what gives them joy because they are genetically wicked. So get used to not being liked. 1 John 5:19.”
She encouraged her fans to embrace the reality of not being universally liked, advocating for inner strength and personal growth.
Born in Owerri, Imo State, Eucharia Anunobi’s journey to stardom began with her education at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu, where she earned a National Diploma in Mass Communication. She later obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Her big break came in 1994 with her role in the iconic movie Glamour Girls, which catapulted her into the limelight.
