According to reports from Spanish media outlet, Fichajes, Manchester United is exploring the possibility of signing Super Eagles forward Sadiq to address their offensive issues this season.
This comes after the club was unable to secure the signature of highly-rated Napoli forward Victor Osimhen and instead opted for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund as part of their squad reinforcement.
Despite making several summer transfer deals in preparation for the new season, Manchester United has yet to see significant returns on their investments this year.
Sadiq, who recently returned from a lengthy injury spell, has scored just one goal in seven domestic appearances this season.
He has yet to find the net for Real Sociedad, but reports suggest that the Nigerian international could thrive with the quality of players in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
