YBNL is on a music spree this year. A week after featuring on Asake’s hit single ‘Amapiano’, Olamide, the record label boss and rapper, has released another single featuring his signee Asake.
In his new single ‘New Religion’, produced by Bbanks and Magicsticks, and released in the late hours of Thursday, June 1, 2023, Olamide employs Asake’s flow. The visuals of the new single was directed by Jyde Ajala, the director behind the visuals of Asake’s ‘Amapiano’ and Olamide’s ‘Trumpet’.
New Religion will be ushering in a new Olamide era as he schedules the release of his 10th studio album ‘Unruly’ for July 13, 2023, almost a month after the release of Asake’s sophomore album ‘Work Of Art’ slated for release on June 15, 2023.
Olamide is one Nigerian artiste who manages to release highly acclaimed albums every year. Although he did not release a project in 2022, his 2021 album UY Scuti introduced us to a new era of Olamide with hit singles like Rock, Julie, Pon Pon, and more.
