Before Adebowale ‘Mr Macaroni’ Adedayo became a famous content creator who has won the hearts of fans with his comedy skits, he was a trained thespian. The graduate of Theatre Arts and Film Studies from Redeemers University came into the limelight in 2019 for his online ‘sugar daddy’ persona, which eventually landed him prominent roles in the Nollywood industry.

In 2022, the 29-year-old comedian featured in many blockbuster films, including Anikulapo, Brotherhood, The Perfect Arrangement, and King Of Thieves (Agesinkole).

Big Brother Naija has introduced us to some of the most talented entertainers for years, but very few have been able to outgrow the ex-BBNaija housemate label. Tobi Bakre is one of the creatives that was given the platform and developed himself enough to fully own the title with his talent.

The actor and TV host started his acting career in 2018 with a role in the Africa Magic TV series, Hustle, but he did not get his breakout role until his feature in the 2019 film Sugar Rush. Since Sugar Rush, he has been featured in top Nollywood films like Brotherhood (2022) and The Blood Covenant (2022). His performance in Brotherhood is particularly commendable as it shows how much growth he has experienced over the years.
