Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter, Burna Boy has made his first single for 2019.
The 27-years-old also released the accompanying visuals to the song which is fast becoming a new favourite.
The video elaborates the sermon of his pro-hard work single addresses a number of the economic problems the youth in Nigeria face on a day-to-day basis and how they deal with it.
The song ‘Dangote’ which is aptly titled after Nigerian billionaire and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote sits between a motivational anthem and advocacy for job creation.
The lyrics are a reminder that only those who exercise grit and consistency can amass wealth while the visuals call the government to order.
The video was directed by Clarence Peters directed.
The video is introduced with a text; “The richest man in Africa still goes to work every morning. Employment and job creation should be a priority for any government. The National Bureau of Statistics puts the estimated number of unemployed Nigerians at 23.1%.”
This was also followed with a riveting display of hopelessness, thuggery, cybercrime, police brutality, sexual harassment, and pick pocketing all as by-products of idleness.
